Robert Levis was born on 6 October 1802 in Schull, County Cork, Ireland. He married Mary Anne Dudley in 1827. Mary was born circa 1805 and died prior to 1895. Robert died of old age at the age of 93 on 11 May 1895 at Highfield, Creagh, Skibbereen. He is listed as a widower. George G Levis, his son, was present at the death.
