John Joseph Levis Family

John Joseph Levis was born on 22 September 1846 in Highfield, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland. He is the son of Robert Levis. John married Julia Anne McCarthy on 7 February 1871 in the Church of Creagh, Skibbereen, County Cork. John was aged 24 and Julia was aged 21 at time of marriage. Fathers names are listed as Robert Levis and Denis McCarthy. Julia Anne was born on 10 April 1849 in England. She is the daughter of Denis McCarthy and Mary Anne Pyle. John and Julia had 13 children. Harriet died on 20 April 1915 at Highfield, Creagh, Skibbereen, County Cork. James married Catherine Cameron on 13 April 1919 in St Bride's Church, Liverpool, England. They had one son, Cameron James. James died on 5 April 1964 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Catherine died in 1934 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England.

Elizabeth Ann Levis was born on 17 August 1874 in Highfield, Creagh, Skibbereen. Her name is listed as Eliza Anne on the birth certificate and Elizabeth Anne on the marriage certificate. Elizabeth married Robert Sweetnam on 1 December 1910 in Creagh Church in the Parish of Creagh, Skibbereen, County Cork.
