Clement Noy Vance was born circa 1810 at St Mary's, Shandon, Cork City, Ireland. He is the son of William Noy Vance and Mary Daunt. Clement died on 15 January 1886 at Pembroke Cottage, Bray, County Wicklow.

Clement married Jane Lowe in 1831 in Cork. Jane was born circa 1812 and died circa 1838.

Clement married Margaret Ryan on 31 January 1839 in Cork City. Margaret was born circa 1818 in Cork and died on 18 March 1846 in Cork. Clement and Margaret had four children:

• William Noy Vance - Born circa 1840 in Cork City. Died 26 November 1887 in Rathdown, County Wicklow.
• James Noy Vance - Born circa 1842 in Cork City. Died 25 March 1916 in Bray, County Wicklow. Married Eleanor Augusta Atkinson on 22 May 1879 in St. Catherine's Church, County Dublin. They had five children:
  • George Vance - Born 9 May 1880 in Harold's Cross, Dublin. Died 26 June 1888 in Rathdown, County Wicklow.
  • Eileen Kathleen Vance - Born circa 1891 in Bray, County Wicklow. Married Herbert George Harris. Died circa 1985 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. Eileen and Herbert had three children:
    • Alfred Noy Harris - Born 12 November 1914 in County Waterford. Died December 1965.
    • Audrey Mary Harris - Born 13 September 1918 in Cashel, County Tipperary. Died 1 January 1974 in Oakville, Halton, Ontario, Canada.
    • Eileen Jane Harris - Born 3 April 1921 in Cashel, County Tipperary. Married Walter Greenshields. Had a son Eric Blaine Greenshields. Died in Canada.
  • Marion Vance - Born circa 1885 in County Wicklow.
  • Violet Mary Vance - Born circa 1889 in County Wicklow. Married William Henry Evans. Died in Wales.
  • Norah Eleanor Vance - Born circa 1884 in Bray, County Wicklow.

Clement married Anne Roberts nee Baldwin on 24 November 1849 in St Mary's Church, Shandon, Cork City. Anne Baldwin is the daughter of Robert Baldwin. Anne had a daugther Margaret Roberts from her first marriage, born circa 1846 in County Cork. Margaret took the surname Vance. She married George Planta Barnes on 29 December 1868 in County Dublin. Anne died on 14 September 1888 in Bray, County Wicklow.
