George Clement Vance was born c. 1844 in Cork, Ireland. He was baptised on 22 August 1844 in SS Peter & Paul Church, Cork. George is the son of Clement Noy Vance and Margaret Ryan. George married Annie (Nannie) Christina Cooke on 16 March 1872 at Wesley Chapel in the Parish of St Pauls in the city of Cork. Nannie was born c. 1846 in Cork, and is the daughter of Bartholomew Cooke and Eliza Bonner. George and Nannie had three children, Clement Bartholomew, William Cooke, and Edith Nannie. Nannie died on 21 November 1903 at Glena Cottage, Greystones, County Wicklow. George died on 4 January 1880 in Camberwell, London, England.
Clement Bartholomew Vance was born in January 1873 in Camberwell, London, England. He married Theresa Jessie H Bell in June 1898 in Wicklow, Ireland. Theresa was born c. 1881 in Wicklow. They had one son James Ronald (1899-1909). Clement and Jessie emigrated to Australia in January 1911 and settled in Victoria. Clement died on 14 April 1924 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia, and is buried in Brighton General Cemetery, Melbourne, Glen Eira City, Victoria, Australia.
William Cooke Vance was born on 12 August 1875 in Dulwich, Greater London, Middlesex, England. He married Helen Hartley Moncrief Rooker on 3 June 1908 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Helen was born on 8 September 1877 in Eccles, Lancashire, England, and is the daughter of Charles Villier Maxwell Rooker and Mary Ann Parry. William and Helen had one son, Arthur Beresford Vance. Helen died on 6 January 1957 in Sale, Cheshire, England. William died on 5 September 1916 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Edith Nannie Vance was born in July 1877 in Camberwell, London, England. She married Arthur Mayne on 22 March 1905 in Greystones, County Wicklow. Arthur Mayne was born circa 1875 and is the son of Joseph William Mayne and Elizabeth Vaughan. Arthur died in March 1947 in Cork, and Edith died in December 1956 in Cork.
