| Susan Beare was born on 23 April 1898 in Bandon, Co. Cork, Ireland. She is the daughter of William Beare and Maria Smyth. She married Norman Herring in 1926. Norman died in 1927. Susan married Goodlett Hamill on 21 November 1932. Susan and Goodlett have three children, Margaret Patricia, Desmond Goodlett and Alan David George. Susan died in December 1956 and is buried in Hollywood, Co. Down, Ireland.
James Norman Herring was born circa July 1896 in Belfast, Ireland. He is the son of James Herring and Susan McGrath. Norman married Susan Beare on 22 July 1926 in Christchurch, Kilbrogan, Bandon, Co. Cork, Ireland. Norman died on 21 March 1927 in Clonmel, Ireland. Goodlett Hamill was born on 21 January 1903 in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland. He is the son of Goodlett Hamill and Annie Ingram. Goodlett Hamill married Susan Beare on 21 November 1932 in Egypt. They had three children. Goodlett died in 1971 and is buried in Belfast, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland. Margaret Patricia (Pat) Hamill was born on 18 September 1934 in Egypt. She is the daughter of Susan Beare and Goodlett Hamill. Pat married John Bewick, son of of Ralph Louis Bewick MBE and Audrey Marie (Mimi) Liebert, on 28 December 1963 in Mombasa Cathedral, Kenya. They have three children. Pat died on 13 January 2022. Desmond Goodlett Hamill was born on 2 November 1936 in Dublin, Ireland. He is the son of Susan Beare and Goodlett Hamill. Desmond married Brigid Lloyd, daughter of Hugh Lloyd, on 19 January 1963 in Kitale, Kenya. They have two children, Sean and Sara. Desmond died on 9 April 2013. Alan David George Hamill was born on 6 November 1940. He is the son of Susan Beare and Goodlett Hamill. Alan married Patricia Burton. They had two children. Alan died in March 1998 and is buried in New Zealand. |
