Dominick and Margaret had four children; Mary (1860), Robert (1862), John (1863), and Lucinda (1866). Margaret died on 18 February 1868 in Cork, Ireland.

Dominick then married Martha Mary Browne on 28 January 1873 in Cork, Ireland. Martha was born circa 1845 in Cork City, Ireland. She is the daughter of John Browne (?-1860) and Anne Hosford (1813-1884). Dominick and Martha had four children; Samuel (1875), William (1876), Alice (1879) and Eldon (1884). Dominick died on 8 May 1885 at 125 Sundays Well Road, Cork City, Ireland. He is buried in St. Finbarr's Cemetery, Cork, Ireland. Martha died on 25 January 1921 in Cork, Ireland.

Mary Ann Hilliard was born in 1860 and died on 21 October 1950.

Robert died in 1945.

John Duke Hilliard was born on 6 October 1863. He married Henrietta Johnson (1867-1892). They had a son, Harry John (1892-1960). John then married Lilian Maxwell (1886-1985). They emigrated to Canada in 1913. They had six children; Norman Maxwell (1912-2002), born in Cork, Jane Newman, born circa 1914 in Ontario, Canada, Maureen (1915-c 1953), Lucinda Sylvia (1918-2014), Florence Marion (1920-2018), and Shirley Lillian (1929-2014). John Duke Hilliard died on 25 December 1928 in Quebec, Canada.

Lucinda Margaret Hilliard was born on 7 March 1866 in Cork, Ireland. She married William Arthur Hanna (1866-1938), son of Robert Hanna and Emily Maura Madeline Dunlop, in 1894. Lucinda died on 30 June 1923.

Samuel John Hilliard was born on 24 November 1875 in Cork, Ireland. He emigrated to the USA and arrived in New York on 22 March 1911. Samuel enlisted in the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force on 29 October 1915, and served with the 1st Canadian Pioneers in France from 1916 to 1918 in World War I. Ha was shot in the neck on 18 March 1916, and was shot in the shoulder on 31 August 1917. He was awarded a Good Conduct Badge - Field on 16 November 1917. Samuel was discharged on 3 April 1919 in Toronto, Ontario, with a proposed residence of 104 Balmoral Place/Park, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. No further details can be found at this stage.

William Dominick Hilliard was born circa 1876 in Cork city, Ireland. He married Avesia Jane Victoria Levis, daughter of John Joseph Levis and Julia Anne McCarthy, in December 1909 in Cork, Ireland. They ha four children; Veronica Levis (1910-1990), William Eldon (1914-1945), Avesia Lydia (1914-2004), and Christopher Alexander (1919-1979). William died on 5 March 1938 at St. Lukes Home, Cork, Ireland. Avesia died on 3 February 1966 at St. Lukes Home, Cork, Ireland.

Alice Hilliard was born circa 1879 in Cork city, Ireland. She married Walter Love (1879-?). They had one daughter, Doris Maud Love. Alice died in March 1927 in County Cork, Ireland.

Eldon Hilliard was born on 17 March 1884 in St. Annes, Cork, Ireland. Eldon enlisted in Victoria, British Columia, on 8 January 1915 with the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles. Eldon was killed in action on 27 July 1916 in Ypres, Belgium. He is buried in Flanders, Belgium.
