Charles married Mary Ann Parry on 7 August 1876 in Eccles, St Mary, Lancashire, England. Mary was born circa 1853 in Pendleton, Lancashire, and is the daughter of John Parry (1823-?) and Ellen Leigh (1830-?). Charles and Mary had a daughter Helen Hartley Moncrief Rooker (1877-1957). Charles died in March 1923 in Salford, Lancashire, England.

Helen Hartley Moncrief Rooker was born on 8 September 1877 in Eccles, Lancashire, England. She married William Cooke Vance on 3 June 1908 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. William was born on 12 August 1875 in Dulwich, Greater London, Middlesex, England, and is the son of George Clement Vance and Nannie Christina Cooke. Helen and William had a son Arthur Beresford Vance (1911-1985). Helen died on 6 January 1957 in Sale, Cheshire, England. William died on 5 September 1916 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
